How Philia works

Anonymous doesn’t have to mean careless.

Philia gives curiosity a safer path: ask privately, offer a clue, and let the other person decide what happens next.

1. Choose someone familiar

Pick an existing Philia friend or send a private invitation through email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Philia never posts invitations publicly.

2. Ask with context

Write a question or feeling and add a shared-memory clue. Automated checks look for contact details, threats, bullying, and other identity-revealing or harmful language.

3. They stay in control

The recipient can answer, decline, ignore, report, or block. A private chat opens only if both people choose to continue.

4. Conversations disappear

There are no public profiles or read receipts. Temporary conversations are designed to end cleanly when either person leaves.
